AHA Mix: Substances also present endogenously, with multiple bio-functional properties.Carnosic Acid: Carnosic acid is known for its antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help protect the skin against free radical damage, reduce inflammation, and counteract cellular senescence.
Ferulic acid: Ferulic acid is an organic compound found in nature. In cosmetics, it has pronounced antioxidant and photoprotective properties. Studies have shown that ferulic acid can neutralise free radicals and protect DNA from damage caused by UV rays. Ferulic acid also helps reduce signs of ageing.
Vitamin C: Strengthens the immune system and supports the body’s defence mechanisms; promotes cell turnover processes; an important cofactor in the production of collagen; an important antioxidant (ROS); counteracts inflammation.
Vitamin E: It effectively combats free radicals, particularly those generated during lipoperoxidation. It has excellent synergy with vitamin C.
Allantoin: Optimises fibroblast proliferation and indirectly improves the synthesis of MEC constituents. Also has keratolytic, re-epithelialising, emollient, soothing, and antioxidant properties.
Carboxy Mix: A complex that activates the Bohr effect. A physiological process involving the release of oxygen molecules by haemoglobin when influenced by H+ and CO2 concentrations. Improves skin tissue oxygenation and provides radiance to the face.
Spirulina: A blue algae rich in phycocyanobilin, a pigment with excellent antioxidant properties that effectively combats free radicals. It's rich in vitamins, essential fatty acids, and minerals.
